Now with file2hd.com you can download myspace mp3s at the original artist quality… the same file that the artist uploaded… also with id3 tags! no more crappy quality mp3s!!
Steps:
- Go to file2hd.com
- Enter the myspace band url, set the filter to audio, and click get files
- Right click on the song that you wish to download (You can select between low or full quality version)
Notes:
- It does not work for all users… So if you can’t get the original file you will have to live with the low quality version or try on another computer with a different IP or use a proxy.
- To avoid typing the filename use Firefox to make the downloads…

yeah it works and i’m a mac user, FILE2HD is GOD!!!!!!, For mac people—For Mac users, hold down the control key when you click. Scroll down to download linked file. It will then download to the desktop.

there are few artist that put many albums on the player..

BAD Quality?? 96kbps is terrible. Unclear and fuzzy, not even worth space on my hard drive unless I can’t find better quality anywhere. Scratch that, if I were to put that much time into a band, I’d just /audacity it. For some bands the song only downloads around 3/4 of the song and the quality is always 96kbps. Too bad my american government won’t allow file sharing and the quality in the mp3 is terribad.

Hmm, it appears that the artists supply the tracks themselves… and the quality of the rip depends on what bitrate they use for the encode.
I just discovered this site myself and i noticed that two of the five songs i downloaded were ripped at 120KBPS and the others were in 192.

yeah download the standard quality! i dont know what youre talking about with the apostrophes cause all the songs i downloaded with them were just saved with the funny symbol instead, they still play just fine.

I love this site. XD I just figured out you have to use a proxy to download with higher quality though.
One problem I encounter often is it only downloads like a piece of the file. But re-downloading works, and lets me download the entire file so no big deal.
You can now get high quality versions. Russian proxies work!

whats the dealio with this. ive been using proxies for awhile to get the hq tracks, and as of, probably the past 3 days or so, nothing has been working. did myspace change the players again or something? or is it jsut a bug?

yeh i’m on safari and mac and when i download myspace files it goes to “application” and saves the files as an html link! FUKT….. what, how, just wants iTunes….
