File2HD.com - Download Songs from the New Myspace Player
Hello,
Some days ago myspace added a new music player; so we had to do some changes on the site to allow downloads of mp3s from the new music player…
As the changes on myspace are new, I also left the option to grab songs from the old player… (It will be removed when myspace finish the transition process to the new player and old player songs became not downloadable)… but now you can find different songs on each player.
UPDATE: [For those asking: Even you in myspace only see a music player (the new one), it can contain both songs (from old player and the new one)… but in file2hd.com the songs are separated.
In file2hd.com under the title “new player” mostly you will see songs that were uploaded after the 09/26/2008 (when the new player was born) or those songs that myspace already converted to the new system!! and in file2hd.com under the title "old player" you will see all songs that were uploaded before 09/26/2008 (even if on myspace the files were deleted or are not available anymore on the new player)]
An old tip: To avoid typing the filename use Firefox to download the files …
Now (as before) you can download songs on standard quality and on the original quality (from the new player)
Notes to download high quality versions:
- You can’t download them directly if you live on USA; high quality songs are only available to non USA people. It’s not because your browser nor your operating system… nor because you are on a MAC or PC… it’s because some kind of country and/or IP restriction. (I don’t know why)
- If you are located on USA you will need a non USA proxy server to download this kind of songs
- If you are using a proxy even if it is not on USA maybe the download will not work! Not all the songs are available on high quality!!!
- So at the end, if you can bypass all that restrictions and finally do a high quality download; remember that the quality does not have to be real high quality, it’s just the original quality that used the band when uploaded the song… so if the original quality is 96kbps you wont get more quality… (but most bands upload on 160kbps or more)
- If you find any proxy that works with HQ downloads please post it on the comments…

First I’d like to say big thank’s to the people who are at MySpace,you do a great job!!
Can you tell me why I can only Telecharge from a site called File2HD.com,I have a Realplayer on my PC but I can’t get music from MySpace on it,I have the litte thing that say’s Telecharge but when I click,Realplayer open’s,but say’s impossible to find file.
Can someone help?If not I’ll have to download from File2HD.com all the time,but it work’s.

Jay,Dont know If it will help?but I DownLoad high quality on a site called File2HD.com,to DownLoad you must agree with term’s(click)then (click) on Auido,then put in the http: of the music you want.Hope that’s what you mean?

Great tool you’ve got here. Invaluable. Just one question. Occasionally, I will go to download a high quality version of a song, and though it does download, it is 0kb in size and obviously unplayable. Anyone else experience this, or has found a way around it?

found a proxy that works although some it downloads as index.php, it still works, when you’re done downloading it try to open the file then choose select a program from a list and choose your media player, tell it to never ask you to play php unless you want it to ask, but the proxy works! proxness.com

Hey, nice site, it worked fine. I downloaded the standard quality version for a song. And when I listened to it on my comp it was 7secs. The real song is 3min. I tried downloading again, but had the same problem. Can someone help me please?

Alright everyone, the route you should be taking to download high quality versions of songs is not through proxy hosting sites, (for the fact that you can’t download files once using one.) but through a little bit of effort in actually using a foreign proxy address. May I stress, it is very simple!! Open a Firefox window, (IE is acceptable, just a little different.) next go to http://www.digitalcybersoft.com, (This is an anonymous proxy list refreshed everyday.) once there the very first paragraph should have a link that states “Click here”, do so. Now the proxies should be categorized; Proxies by port, Proxies by level, etc. Me personally, 8080 is my preferred port, so click 8080. A list of working proxies should appear.
Now for example, you would see something like this:
222.251.133.43:8080
Highlight and copy 222.251.133.43 since that is the proxy address. remember 8080 is the port number
Now in Firefox Click Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Select the Network tab and inside connection, click settings>>Select the bubble that says Manual Proxy Configuration:>>In the HTTP box, paste the proxy address that you highlighted and copied earlier, and in the port box next to it goes 8080.>> Now click ok, then ok again.
Now make a new tab and go to our beloved http://file2hd.com. There, enter the site address that you are looking to download the music from, Find the song that you are looking to download in the high quality section, right click the song name, click save link as.. and from there, your download should start, no problem. =D
Now fair warning, some proxy addresses may no longer be active and will cause your internet not to connect, just go back and change the address or delete it and it will work again. Also, once you have finished downloading all you need, go back to the connection settings and delete the proxy address and the port #, and select the bubble that says no proxy.

On the new player u can switch from viewing the featured playlist to others playists and albums, but the songs from these other playists don’t show up on the site. Is there any way to download the tracks from these other playlists?

The new myspace player doesn’t work at all on it.

You’re using the wrong URL. Look under the Add Me box for the User URL and use that.
Should look like http://www.myspace.com/(URL extension here)

Does ANYONE know how to access other playlists on the music player to download tracks?? It’s been asked several times but I don’t see an answer.
I’ve tried opening the player in a separate window and copying that URL, but even that only works for the artist’s featured playlist. I think it has something to do with the url and the components in it (example: &albid=9660610, &artid=1476415, etc.), but I can’t figure out which ones are causing a problem. As far as I can tell there is NO reason they shouldn’t display - they *seem* like the SAME files embedded in the SAME player as the original playlist.
PLEASE. HELP PLEASE. I KNOW there is someone out there smarter than me that can figure it out. HELP.

SONGS ON DIFFERENT PLAY LIST
How can you rip a song from a different playlist on the artist page?
For example, most artist have multiple playlist, but file2hd.com only lists the audio files from the default playlist.
Any suggestions? Much appreciated.
