Some days ago myspace added a new music player; so we had to do some changes on the site to allow downloads of mp3s from the new music player…
As the changes on myspace are new, I also left the option to grab songs from the old player… (It will be removed when myspace finish the transition process to the new player and old player songs became not downloadable)… but now you can find different songs on each player.
UPDATE: [For those asking: Even you in myspace only see a music player (the new one), it can contain both songs (from old player and the new one)… but in file2hd.com the songs are separated.
In file2hd.com under the title “new player” mostly you will see songs that were uploaded after the 09/26/2008 (when the new player was born) or those songs that myspace already converted to the new system!! and in file2hd.com under the title "old player" you will see all songs that were uploaded before 09/26/2008 (even if on myspace the files were deleted or are not available anymore on the new player)]
An old tip: To avoid typing the filename use Firefox to download the files …
Now (as before) you can download songs on standard quality and on the original quality (from the new player)
Notes to download high quality versions:
- You can’t download them directly if you live on USA; high quality songs are only available to non USA people. It’s not because your browser nor your operating system… nor because you are on a MAC or PC… it’s because some kind of country and/or IP restriction. (I don’t know why)
- If you are located on USA you will need a non USA proxy server to download this kind of songs
- If you are using a proxy even if it is not on USA maybe the download will not work! Not all the songs are available on high quality!!!
- So at the end, if you can bypass all that restrictions and finally do a high quality download; remember that the quality does not have to be real high quality, it’s just the original quality that used the band when uploaded the song… so if the original quality is 96kbps you wont get more quality… (but most bands upload on 160kbps or more)
- If you find any proxy that works with HQ downloads please post it on the comments…

when i download the song only lasts 17 seconds! why?? someone help me plz!:)
is it still working? i’m just having trouble downloading a few HQ songs (even with proxy sites).
what proxy site is everyone using? Do some HQ just not work?
Just a technical question. How you do to find where the mp3-files is located. Are you useing some type of scanner that tells where he get the file to stream into the player?
i have tried to use this, but all the songs i try to download come out to be about 0:36 seconds long. I wanted to know how to get the full length Please,
The new myspace player has different playlists in it. What if i want to get a song from the same artist (and same page) but different playlist? I hope you can enable it too…

when i downloaded the music file it was saved as index.php so i had to rename it to a .mp3
weird but it worked after.

Anyone else getting an “error” message? I keep getting this for imeems and myspace, i did it yesterday and it worked fine. After i placed the URL in and click get file, instead of the FLV files i get a “Error”. Anyone able to help me? thanks
Does ANYONE know how to access other playlists on the music player to download tracks?? It’s been asked several times but I don’t see an answer.
I’ve tried opening the player in a separate window and copying that URL, but even that only works for the artist’s featured playlist. I think it has something to do with the url and the components in it (example: &albid=9660610, &artid=1476415, etc.), but I can’t figure out which ones are causing a problem. As far as I can tell there is NO reason they shouldn’t display – they *seem* like the SAME files embedded in the SAME player as the original playlist.
PLEASE. HELP PLEASE. I KNOW there is someone out there smarter than me that can figure it out. HELP.

How can you rip a song from a different playlist on the artist page?
For example, most artist have multiple playlist, but file2hd.com only lists the audio files from the default playlist.
Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

i hope you get everything you want to have in your life.
and it really make difference between original version and featured playlist. the standard one was 96kbps even though the original version is 320kbps.

Its very weird. I can download many songs from myspace. But in some music profiles it says file not found. And in some others it shows both new and old music player and i can download both standard and high quality.
What’s wrong with these profiles that says no files found?
