Some bad news:
To avoid automated applications overloading the system and general abuse had to implement a word verification system (a captcha) so in this way the site can continue working without asking you for any fee.
You only will see this captcha from time to time if you had a high use of the site… If you only do a few requests you will never even notice that this feature is turned on…
The captcha is a little bit hard because as a coder I know that easy captchas can be easily broken… So if you have troubleshooting typing it the first time… just try again… 
If you have any other idea how this can be done without the need of the captcha post it on the comments…

Update (02/27/2009):
For the ones with troubleshooting entering the captcha:
- You must have cookies enabled on your browser
- If you still have trouble just wait some hours and come back to site and your IP will be clear (No captcha for a while)

how often is “time to time”, is there an acceptably slow rate to automatically hit the site?
btw, to do it without a captcha you could limit daily requests from the same ip, but this would cause problems for people at uni or offices, or using tor.
Maybe add max speed an automaton can hit the site in the terms?

look… i type the code in correctly and it still says its incorrect. no matter how many times i write it in correctly. i space between it once and don’t put any capitals like it says and it still wont let me get my music file. ive been doing this for about 3 hours. it still never let me get threw. so can you like fix this.. NOW. its fucking annoying ass hell.

The most current songs are no longer appearing for download. For example I tried to get this song called “Enough by Jon Young on this url…

No, Tees. Nothing is wrong with you. File2HD really is blocking or not wanting to download MySpace music now. I don’t think with just that site, though. Something’s wrong. I hope all goes well with File2HD.
